Founder & President
Judith is the founder and president of Rewire Leadership Institute®. A master facilitator, consultant, teacher, and coach, she has created and facilitated personal growth, team development and organizational change seminars, coached executives and teams, facilitated strategic planning and high visibility meetings, and supported culture change for over four decades. Judith works with a diverse range of companies from government agencies, non-profit, Fortune Global 500, to small and mid-sized family owned businesses including such organizations as NASA, Seaflow, Total Oil, Restoration Hardware, San Antonio Water System, and Culver Company.
Superb at supporting individuals, pairs, and teams in developing the skills necessary to realize their full potential, Judith helps executives, managers, and staff gain the ability to respond flexibly and rapidly to their changing environment. Through extensive experience and research, she utilizes a number of different approaches including the FIRO theory, systems theory, cybernetics, neuroscience, cognitive, positive, and success psychology.
As one of the world’s leading experts on the FIRO theory, she trains consultants internationally. A consultant’s consultant, Judith mentors facilitators, coaches, therapists and other professionals in the integration of the FIRO theory in their work. From 1981 until 2004, she worked closely with Dr. Will Schutz, the creator of FIRO theory. Independently, Judith developed FIRO Theory Profiling, which has been lauded as the first innovation in the FIRO theory instruments aside from Dr. Schutz’ own developments. She continues to develop courses that synthesize her studies and experience and are based in FIRO theory.
Starting in her teenage years, Judith has been a pioneer in her passion for authenticity, clear communication, and positive change. She is lauded for her ability to see others’ potential and help them realize it—be they individuals, pairs, teams, or organizations. Judith’s zest for life, appreciation for others, and generosity of spirit inspires those with whom she works.
An honor’s student at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Judith’s desire and passion to learn about authenticity motivated her to move her studies to The Institute for Creative and Artistic Development (ICAD) in Oakland, California. As the youngest student in their teacher training program, she created and graduated with an undergraduate degree that focused on authenticity through California State University, Sonoma. Continuing on her quest to study authenticity and creativity, Judith began taking courses at California State University, Hayward where she also created and graduated with a unique Master’s degree that focused on communication, transformation, and the creative arts.
Interested in systems and change, Judith began experimenting with her innovative action-oriented approach to assess and intervene with families, groups, and organizations. Through this work, she became a much sought-after instructor, training masters and doctoral students in her seminal work. As chair of a psychology program focused on Creative Arts Therapies at Antioch University, San Francisco, she developed curriculum and continued to serve as guest faculty and lecturer at universities nationwide.
In addition to leading Rewire Leadership, Judith and her husband, Daniel Ellenberg, co-founded Relationships That Work®, where she serves as Vice President. She and Daniel co-authored Lovers for Life: Creating Lasting Passion, Trust, and True Partnership, which applies the principles of Rewire Leadership Institute® to romantic relationships. Recently, they co-authored a chapter in Mastering the Art of Success: Volume 8. With Matt White, Judith recently co-authored Leading with Courage.
Daniel helps CEOs, VPs, managers, engineers, scientists, artists and others realize and develop their greatest assets—curiosity, purpose, authenticity, and resilience. As a change agent, he occupies different roles: executive and leadership coach, organizational trainer, group facilitator, consultant, and researcher. He focuses on helping people build inspiring, successful professional careers and personal lives. He has coached leaders in companies such as Yahoo, Netscape, Oracle, ESPN, Power Vision, Adobe, Restoration Hardware, Autodesk, and Genentech, as well as many smaller companies—including start-ups.
Daniel’s background in various approaches in psychology, contemplative practices, neuroscience, and philosophy makes him uniquely qualified to help leaders gain a deeper, more effective understanding both of themselves and those they serve. With his guidance, leaders learn to strategically strengthen relationships and build powerful bonds—creating an environment of trust and honesty. He achieves this by helping people resolve common misunderstandings and power struggles to create cohesive, well-functioning teams and organizations. People experience greater self-esteem, which positively influences all aspects of organizations—including the bottom line.
An expert in the field of awareness and relationship skills, Daniel has presented at major conferences, businesses, and universities. A published author, he contributed to the book The Communication Path and with his wife, Judith Bell, he co-authored a chapter in Mastering the Art of Success Volume 8 as well as the book Lovers for Life: Creating Lasting Passion, Trust, and True Partnership. He’s delivered his successful communications messages on radio and television. His deepest interests are in researching and teaching skills that allow people to thrive both professionally and personally—rather than simply survive.
Daniel is also president of Relationships That Work® and directs Strength with Heart® men’s groups and seminars. He researched how the traditional male role influences relationships, both professionally and personally. He applies this understanding in guiding leaders to be more conscious and impeccable.
Supporting leaders in acquiring new skills of resilience—stability, flexibility and the capacity to bounce back—informs Daniel’s entire body of work. With Judith, he co-created and delivered a specially designed resilience training program for NASA to help its workforce survive and thrive during a crisis in organizational confidence in the manned space program.
Daniel brings warmth, caring, and humor to his work. At the same time, he challenges people to think outside the box. He believes that people often learn best when they laugh the most.
Daniel holds a BA in psychology from Boston University and a PhD in counseling psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies. He has acted as co-facilitator of The Human Element® course and is the co-creator/co-facilitator of the Resilience Dynamics® course. Gary Copeland is an international consultant in management, organizational development, and human relations with 20+ years of experience in managing programs and leading strategic planning efforts. Trained in the Marshall Goldsmith method and certified in The Human Element® and Radical Collaboration®, Gary has led multi-year change initiatives with senior executive teams, provided training in management and teamwork to multi-national corporations, facilitated conflict resolution for university faculties, and trained leaders in the US Government.
He understands the pressures facing modern leaders in the public and private sectors. As a Commissioned Officer of the U.S. Public Health Service, Gary directed a national office providing services for 10,000 healthcare professionals in the Indian Health Service. A sample of his clients includes Eli Lilly, Shell Oil, Johnson & Johnson, Seagram’s Wine & Spirits, the United Nations, NASA, the U.S. Army Missile Command, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, the National Cancer Institute, the Christian Hansen Group (Denmark), and the Human Element Network of Sweden.
As a Master Licensed Human Element Practitioner (Master LHEP™), Gary has co-facilitated The Human Element® course numerous times. For almost 20 years Gary was an associate, student, and devoted friend of Dr. Will Schutz, creator of FIRO theory and The Human Element®. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development, a Master of Public Health, and a Degree in Pharmacy. He is a graduate of the University Associates’ Advanced Program in Organization and Human Resource Development, where he also serves as a member of the faculty and a senior consultant.

With recognition of the power of my own intuition has come a sense of trust in my life that is difficult to explain– a knowingness… about what is yet to come and how it will fit beautifully in to place with what has been. It has allowed me to travel through life with courage, to build a family, to navigate truly terrifying moments, to treat myself and others with compassion, and to reinvent myself whenever life has demanded it.
Leaving home at 16 to finish high school while living on my own and taking my first management job at age 17 made things very clear. If I wanted something, it was up to me to make it happen and more importantly, I learned that I could.
Becoming a mother in my teens was the hard way to understand what it meant to navigate a life at home with a life at work.
Working with top executives of some of the nation’s largest airline corporations at 20 is how I began my professional career. At numerous junctures in my life there has been restructuring, each new direction teaching me more about myself and my place in this world.
Suffering medical issues that have forced me to lie still for weeks and even months at a time inspired me to create a work environment that allows flexibility.
Married twice for a combined 38 years, I have 6 children and 8 grandchildren who are the most significant part of my life. I believe in family first.

Roxane has been helping individuals, teams and companies define success criteria and achieve their goals for more than 20 years. She’s applied her expertise in Leadership Coaching, Human Resources, Talent Strategy, and Career Management in a multitude of growth, turnaround, acquisition, and startup scenarios.
Her work is at the intersection of human development and operational effectiveness. Her process identifies what matters most, creates actionable plans that move through ambiguity and complexity, and dissolves the inner-personal, interpersonal and situational barriers to achieving desired outcomes.
As a Coach, Facilitator, and Business Consultant, Roxane draws on her direct experience in the roles of leader, manager and teammate. As VP of Global Human Resources at Electronic Arts, she coached leaders and led teams through the challenges of worldwide hyper-growth as the Interactive division scaled from 300 to 2,500 people. In this role, she also led M&A project management and integration for more than 15 acquisitions, ranging from 10-person startups to global businesses of more than 500 employees. In her consulting practice, she helps VC-backed companies implement the programs and behaviors that enable them to scale. This breadth enables her to coach leaders working in a broad range of cultures, stages and complex conditions.
Her academic background includes an independently designed interdisciplinary Master’s Degree from New York University in Executive Development, as well as a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica and a Bachelor's Degree in Literature from Skidmore College. A life-long learner, Roxane has completed numerous programs taught by Rewire Leadership (RL), the Pacific Gestalt Institute, the Cleveland Gestalt Institute, and she has been practicing mindfulness meditation for nearly a decade.

Phil is an internationally sought after public speaker, mediator, facilitator, and presenter. Philip was recognized as Bayer Healthcare’s ‘Global Marketing Excellence Champion’ in 2009 and ‘Star Change Management Champion’ in 2010. A life-long learner with degrees and certifications spanning three decades and three continents, Phil is currently continuing his studies in Psychology with Charles Sturt University.
Phil has worked extensively with Judith Bell as his Executive coach. Pat has been facilitating groups, teams and individuals throughout the UK and much of Europe for more than twenty-five years. He provides consulting services to organizations in the private and public sectors and specializes in management and leadership development training, group and team dynamics, as well as group, executive and individual coaching. He has worked with Harrods, NPIA Bramshill, BAE Systems, Kingfisher PLC, Sainsbury’s, Marks and Spencer, Croydon University Hospital, Catalent Pharmaceutical, Kingston and St. George’s University of London, The Royal Air Force, HM Customs & Excise, Fuji Seal Europe, Railpen Investments, Telewest Communications and Guinness Ireland Group, and many others.
His experience includes facilitating post-graduate facilitator development programs at the Human Potential Research Group at the University of Surrey and at the Centre for Action Research in Professional Practice at the University of Bath. He has facilitated several Diplomas in Counselling at Sandwell College and Birmingham Counselling Centre. From 1989 – 1992, Pat was Senior Counsellor and latterly Director of the Alcohol Counselling Service in Brixton.
Pat has worked with Will Schutz’s FIRO Theory since he encountered ‘JOY’ (Dr. Schutz’s first best seller) in 1982. He had the privilege of being trained by Will in 1999. He is passionate about facilitating and equally passionate about FIRO Theory. As a result, he designed and facilitated the Master Practitioner Diploma program in FIRO Theory [2005 - 2007] and was himself an accredited Master Practitioner in FIRO Theory by S.E.L.F. (Schutz Education & Learning Foundation) in Stockholm.

Laura is an organizational psychologist who has worked in the fields of organizational and leadership development since 2005. She spent nearly 8 years working with NASA building and leading the Organizational Development (OD) function at Kennedy Space Center. She also worked extensively on leadership development for the Agency, serving on the core team to create NASA’s first supervisory cohort development program and revamp the NASA leadership model.
In 2013, Laura founded Key Talent Solutions, which works with individuals and organizations to help them unlock their potential. In this capacity, she works with a variety of companies, including technology organizations and start-ups, to help them identify their goals and work to develop in ways to overcome obstacles to goal achievement. Laura is a certified coach, and works with leaders from CEO’s to first-line supervisors, as well as with OD professionals, to help them hone their skills.
Laura serves as adjunct faculty at Rollins College, teaching Organizational Development, and also teaches for the graduate program in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at the University of Central Florida.
Dr. Gallaher has a Ph.D. in Psychology and an M.S. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Central Florida, and a B.S. in Psychology from Arizona State University.

Lynn is a workplace behavior specialist with over eighteen years of experience in organizational development (OD), mediation, interpersonal dynamics, executive coaching, training, and business coaching and consulting. She has assisted numerous public and private sector organizations with workplace culture change, conflict resolution, and the improvement of team cohesiveness and effectiveness. Lynn has worked with leadership teams to fully integrate their core values throughout all aspects of their organization.
In addition to her OD consulting and mediation work, she facilitates and trains managers, teams, and employees on the topics of effective communication, conflict resolution, leadership and supervisory skills, teamwork, change management, positive work environment creation, harassment, workplace protection/violence, stress management, positive attitude development, and work/life balance. Her work has involved the design and development of internal policies and procedures related to work flow, communications, and human relations.
Lynn is the Director of Human Resources for Friedman’s Home Improvement, a 3rd generation family-owned business with nearly 400 employees and soon-to-be 4 locations. Her focus is effecting culture change, providing executive coaching, leadership and team development, OD, and facilitating strategic planning. Prior to her current position, she focused on her OD consulting practice for 15 years. She has also held various senior management positions in finance, Human Relations, and administration within healthcare organizations. Her background includes experience in startup and merger environments where she assisted organizations with managing growth and change and integrating different work cultures.
Ms. Ichinaga has a B.A. in Political Science/Public Service from the University of California at Davis and has taken courses in Conflict Resolution and Mediation from Sonoma State University. Bob Strange is an experienced teacher, facilitator and personal development coach. Blending five decades of work experience in military and civilian leadership, team building, productivity improvement, and personal development training, Bob currently dedicates his time to working with males from adolescence to old age as they struggle to discover, recognize, accept and empower their true selves as men.
Bob’s work with men teaches them to deal effectively with significant personal challenges such as post-traumatic stress, physical and psychological abuse and long-practiced cultural defensiveness that block a man’s ability to respond to life challenges with awareness and openness. Men learn how to retire their “loyal soldiers” of emotional blocking and self-estrangement and how to release their potential as humans.
From 1996 to 2002, Bob was the Manager of Organizational Development and Learning at San Antonio Water System, a large public utility, where he developed and implemented a comprehensive supervisory skills training program for mid-level managers and supervisors. In that capacity he also facilitated the utility’s strategic planning process. In 2002 he became the Change Manager for a utility-wide business practices and software integration project.
Previously, Bob served in the US Army as an infantry officer and in the Corps of Engineers. During his military career, he taught at the Army’s Command and General Staff College for 5 years and was the director of the Faculty Development Division. He has provided military and civilian leadership and relational skills training to individuals and groups from entry-level positions to the highest executives.
Bob is a certified trainer of The Human Element® seminar, Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator®, Situational Leadership®, DiSC Classic Personal Profile System®, and American Productivity and Quality Council training seminars. For 16 years, he was an adjunct professor of business management and organizational development at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas.
In addition to completing a mentorship program with Judith Bell, Bob has participated in Rewire Leadership’s Authentic Leadership 1, Authentic Leadership 2, and The Human Element® Certification courses as well as co-facilitated several of The Human Element® seminars.
