Resilience Dynamics®

Riding the Waves of Change

Building on research in the field of resilience, Resilience Dynamics® integrates powerful change systems from the fields of neuroscience, positive psychology, cognitive psychology, cybernetics, complex systems, and FIRO (Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation) theory. The course teaches principles such as self-regulation, realistic optimism, positive self-talk, and the importance of an interpersonal support network. Participants are trained in practices that help them develop intrapersonal and interpersonal skills, including values clarification, effective communication, and self-management skills. The course will include lecture, small group discussions, assessments, experiential exercises and follow-up planning activities. Throughout the course, the FIRO theory will provide a practical model and a set of skills that support individuals and teams to ride the waves of change more effectively.
